Hair Envy is also a must read for any black woman that can relate to having issues with self-image. It’s a comical tale of how I struggled and over-came this problem and hopefully it will be an inspiration to young women coming into their own. This is not just about hair, but about learning to love your-self. I truly enjoyed reading this book. Born in the late 50s I have seen and heard just about all tales of the natural verse relaxed hair and the author was on point. I definitely recommend every Mom to share with their little girl of all nationalities. It a teaching of understanding.
